On top of an article I didn't post about a significant growth in table top role playing games (the subtext of which was, that it was all because of Castles & Crusades, even though C&C wasn't ever mentioned) comes the news that the comic industry is showing growth in the kid and female demographics and their traditional male graphic is staying steady.
That's good news. Broadening the market to include new segments and segments that traditionally spend lots of money...that will help all the trends even more.
